After three to four years (perhaps more) of university life, individuals are often set in their ways. What are the best ways for Grads to make a transition from a university (or college) environment into a corporate one? Grads should stay open to learning as much as they can - ask questions and surround themselves with people they can learn from. They are going to make contact with people of all ages, with many years of experience and a wider range of education. Therefore they will need to adopt an open-minded approach to learning and service delivery. The working life of a consultant will require flexibility, be prepared to go the extra mile by putting in the necessary extra hours .

Where on the planet are you currently located? I live in Richards Bay in South Africa!
Tell us about your career and your business projects? I have had a roller-coaster of a "career" so far, still being a full-time student. I started my first business ("Neverland Parties") in Grade 6; an exclusive party planning business that offered the best quality, service and covered a niche in the market for kids magic shows. By the end of my first operational year, I had turned 60 000 ZAR as a sixth grader.

In my opinion it is essential that students are able to have some courses included in their studies focussed in the field of commerce or business – especially in terms of how a business is run.
From my understanding, basic business concepts highlight the processes of organisations, operational efficiency and the calculation of expenses and gains. For me this is knowledge or a way of thinking that can be applied to so many different aspects outside of business.

The superhero sabbatical, year out or gap year adventure...
It is not easy being a Superhero, from saving and protecting the helpless, the planet or the universe from super villains and of course managing a normal secret identity lifestyle – a superhero career is pretty much filled to capacity!
However as in the real world, superhero’s do need time off. Time to recharge the batteries and recuperate from a tough workload. Finding a career and hero balance is difficult – but if they did indeed take a break, where would they go to escape the mad rush of their lives?
